Strange Creek Greensfield Ma May 26-27



This festival is amazing!  Congrats to Gabrielle and Mark for a job well done! 



I pulled up with the boys from Unexplained Bacon during Buzz Universe's set.  I listened to it from a distance and was sad that I couldn't be right up front dancing my ass off!  We checked in and drove right to Vernville.  I felt like I was in a crazy hippie parade.  I was blowing kisses and waving to all who passed by.



My tent was set up, I ate some Annie's Mac and Cheese with broccoli, I made my wine spritzer and I was ready to go! 



Bacon played an amazing set at Vernville.  They even had people hula hooping in a graveyard....I was one of them!  They busted out some Captain Morgan during Hanging with the Captain.  I chugged some and then I had my red wine spilt all over my dress by they guy with the amazing eyes.  I wasn't sad though:)



Marc and Andrew from the Juggling Suns and  Rich from Jerkwater Ruckus sat in while they played "Eyes of the World" into "M.E.M.P.H.I.S" into "Hits from the Bong" back into "Eyes."  It was just so good that it was rediculous! 



I needed to chill a little bit after that craziness that we call Bacon.  I caught "Dub is a Weapon" and they were amazing as well!



The next day was magical as well!  I traded for a beautiful rasta dress, had my boob pop out of my dress, ate some organic hot dogs on sprouted wheat buns, did some crazy things with mustard, drank boxed wine spritzers, and felt really roudy! 



Before Ryan Montbleau's set I caught up with the boys and Boxed them.  Yup I always represent!  Their set was amazing as it always is.  There wasn't one person that wasn't dancing in that main stage area.  Crazy Red Beard was painting live onstage and asked me to add to the painting.  I added the words, "Yummy Band" because they are yummy.  I even got to sign the back next to Ryan's signature.  I felt so famous!  This is when Team Tara started too!  I painted T's on everyone and gave them numbers.  Everyone was number 69!  Ryan played "They Love Each Other" and I was so happy because I love that song!  He also played a song about eggs and I was sad because there was no mention of over hard eggs and those are my favorite.



The Juggling Suns played soon after and I danced some more!



Strangefolk was next and they never seem to let me down.  I was happier than a bear in honey....I even ate some honey.



I drank some warm guiness and then went to see Peter Prince and Moon Boot Lover.  I hung out back stage for a little bit and those guys are fun!  I dranks some whiskey, ate some pasta salad, and had a good ol'time.



Next came my buddies The Breadbox Band.  I couldn't fit in the cabin so I watched outside by the window.  I yelled, "Play my favorite song!" over and over, but they didn't:(  I forgive them because they blew the roof off the cabin.  Ryan Montbleau even sang Long Tall Sally with them and forgot the words but it didn't matter.  It was great!  He might have forgotten because I wanted  one that you could shake, but I had to cup it, then I stuck my finger in it, then I licked it, and then I put it on my weiner, and then I bit it.



After the show me and my ladies kidnapped Ryan and told him that he was a lady.  I think he is:) 



I ended the night sleeping next to my BFF Jema and slept like a baby. 



I drove home with Dave and Britt and Dave's car hit  60,000.  He even interviewed us about how we felt about it.



I then passed out on the Pomona couch til Josh came and picked me up.  I went  home and went to sleep again.



I will always remember Strange Creek 2007!
